Dr Micky Kerr

Micky has an academic background in occupational and organisational psychology, and has undertaken applied research across a range of healthcare and engineering work contexts. His research interests include: informal learning in the workplace; qualitative methods; socio-technical systems thinking; computer supported collaborative work, and technology enhanced learning.

Recent work experience has  involved acting as the lead qualitative researcher within a multi-disciplinary project, and cultivating collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals, in order to improve the implementation of stroke rehabilitation services. Micky has also provided research support to professionals on using qualitative approaches and methods, within the evaluation of healthcare projects and work-based learning programmes.
